About

I am a Philadelphia-based film programmer, artist, and Japanese cinema enthusiast.
I run Tokyo No Records, a record label specializing in modern Japanese throwback bands.
I DJ late 60s Japanese Group Sounds throughout the East Coast. I do a four hour set every year at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden’s annual Cherry Blossom Festival.
I used to be the Managing Director of the Philadelphia Film Festival. I also used to manage one of the T.L.A. Video stores.
I go to the movies at least three times a week.
My favorite band is Sparks.
My favorite film is Ikiru.
I am shy and modest.
