I’ll slowly post ongoing and former activities/achievements/failures here as I come to grips with my tumultuous past…
Tokyo No Records is a record label I founded in 2007. It is dedicated to the domestic release of throwback Japanese musicians, mostly modern bands that sound like they’re from a past era. I’ve recently (1/11) extended the label’s scope to include the release of important American bands in Japan thus bringing the cultural exchange full circle.

This is a feature-length documentary that I directed/produced/edited from 2000 – 2004. Otaku Unite! had over 100 public screenings including special showings at the Philadelphia Film Festival, the San Diego Comic Con, and the inaugural New York Comic Con. It was released on DVD throughout North America in 2006 and has since screened on television all over the world with subtitles ranging from Japanese to Russian.
Further details and archive material can be found in the Otaku Unite! archive.
